L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program
A Mentor Driver - Everyone Can Learn!
Don't let your circumstances slow you down. If you think you can't get your licence, L2P Learn to Drive Mentor Program might help you rethink that. Funded by the TAC, the program offers assistance to those who wish to learn to drive but don't have the opportunity to gain the experience of 120 hours of supervised driving.
No Cash? No Problem
With a fully licensed volunteer as supervisor, you don't need to scrimp and save for a way to have lessons to cover 120 hours of driving! The Transport Accident Commission funds the program, along with local community donors. This is to ensure all young people have the opportunity to obtain their probationary licence, regardless of their financial or living situation.
Wish You Had Someone To Teach You?
Even without a parent with the time and ability to coach you, you can learn. Get your Ps with the help of one of our dedicated volunteers who have the time and patience to work alongside you as you clock up 120 hours. They have the support and training they need to best assist you. We have sponsored vehicles so that even without access to your own car, you will be on your way to your licence.
Make a Difference in the Community
There are many opportunities for mentors, as there are several youth across the area ready to start driving. If you are a fully licenced driver who is ready to contribute please contact us. We offer training programs and ongoing support for our volunteers. Be part of our team!
